Abstract
The reason why choose to compare the poetics of Wang Fu-zhi and Jing Sheng-tan is that they represented separately late Ming and early Qing dynasty's two different poetic theory.Jing Sheng-tan used the way of decomposing to comment on poems and stressed on the coherence effect while Wang Fu-zhi opposed formatted text and claimed the melting of feeling and scene.These two reversely poetic theories actually embodied the basic spirit of the classic poetic theory.They are the embodiment of the universe in the poetics and would be melting together and the participation of the two will help us to have deeper understanding of the spirit of the classic poetics.
