Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of xylanase and multi-enzyme PS on Oreochromis niloticus.Oreochromis niloticus(average initial weight 32.65±4.16g) were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.05%,0.10%,0.15% xylanase and 0.05%,0.10%,0.15% multi-enzyme PS,respectively. The trial lasted 60 days.In conclusion, the addition of xylanase or multi-enzyme PS to the diet had significant positive effects on growth performance;the superoxide dismautase activity, lysozyme activity and the ability of resistance to active oxygen of the spleen and hepatopancreas of Oreochromis niloticus were all significantly higher than those of the control(P0.01).It could improve the ability of the non-specific immunity of Oreochromis niloticus.Addition of 0.10% of xylanase or multi-enzyme to the diet might be sufficient for optimal performance of Oreochromis niloticus.
