Discussion on Protection of Bositeng Lake Water Area and Wetland

Around the Bositeng Lake water area and wetland,sea walls have been built in large quantities to enclose tideland for farmland,the water surface was reduced,as well as lakes volume,only partially wetland stored.Wetland was herded wantonly,reeds were cut excessively,causing wetland being reduced,Salinization aggravated,the output of reed marshes dropped,environmenal quality degraded.Strengthening the protection for the Bositeng Lake water area and wetland will improve the water quality of Bositeng Lake and periphery natural environment,and improve the peacock river region natural ecological environment of the lower reaches.
