Abstract
The Address Resolution Protocol(ARP)is a protocol based on friendly communication and complete trust,and it is prone to be attacked.The Prevention of ARP spoofing which has widely spread in campus network is highly paid attention to by network administrators and users.This paper introduces the ARP principle,the security vulnerability of ARP,the principle of ARP virus attacks and the phenomenon of the attacks,proposes a variety of measures which can be used by administrators or users to prevent and to detect ARP Spoofing and analyzes the Advantages and disadvantages and application of the measures.
