The Current Survey of the Chinese Ancient "Speech and Meaning" Theory

The relation between speech and meaning is an important issue of literature theory in Chinese classical criticism which has been continuously probed into. It roots in the puzzle between speech and meaning in daily expressions,arising to the analysis of meaning and speech in literary expressions,forming the Chinese particular theory of speech and meaning. Observed in current point of view,the theory of speech of meaning is rich in literary value,which embodies in: 1) materizing the Chinese classical literary speech in ontological meaning;2) touching on Chinese particular ways epistemdogy in this literary speech;3) midwiferying the Chinese characterics,of literary creation and establishing the particular Chinese literary theory.
