A Discussion on the Mentality of Resisting Liao Dynasty of Song People

A situation in which Song Dynasty and Liao Dynasty confronted each other em-erges after the establishment of Northern Song Dynasty and its unification of Central plains.From then on,oppugning and resisting Liao became a main external policy of Song D-ynasty.There are different form of relation between Song and Liao during different times.However,the sense of humiliation and fear of Liao have been always the major mentality of Song people toward Liao,which influenced Song Dynasty's policy toward Liao.
