Labor Enables Human Beings to Become Aesthetic——A Discussion with Wang Jisheng

The differences between human beings and animals show ultimately the aesthetic reality relationship between the practical freedom and the human beings that it formulates. That is to say, it is free and conscious labor that enables human beings to be rid of the animal world and elevated to the status of beings who are possessed of aesthetic ability. In turn, the aesthetic human beings gradually depart from animal kingdom and are transformed into true human beings --- beings who can develop freely and overly. From this perspective, the differences between human beings and animals demarcated by Marx and Engels are not essential. This sort of difference does not affect the aesthetic construction and system that the practice aesthetics has accomplished with the practical materialism as the philosophical basis.
