Abstract

The selective control effect on mulberry borer and geometrid of 20% Methomyl EC, 40% Phoxim and 30% Phoxim microcapsule suspension. The results showed that the sequence of selective control effect on young mulberry bor er was 20% Methomyl EC30% Phoxim microcapsule suspension40% Phoxim, and 20% Methomyl EC also showed the best selective control effect on mature mulberry borer. The sequence of selective control effect on young mulberry geometrid was 40% Phoxim30% Phoxim microcapsule suspension20% Methomyl EC. It was concluded that 20% Methomyl EC was the best pesticide for mulberry borer prevention and contonl, but should not be chosen for mulberry geometrid prevention and control. And 40% Phoxim and 30% Phoxim microcapsule suspension were both suitable for mulberry borer and geometrid, but should be chosen according to the interval from spraying to picking.
