Abstract
Shanghai Bailonggang sludge treatment project was chosen as a 2010 national special attention case in the sludge treatment and disposal field. The treatment processes, such as gravity thickening, centrifugal thickening, mesophilic anaerobic digestion, centrifugal dehydration and fluidized-bed drying for partial dewatered sludge are used for sludge treatment. As the largest sludge treatment project with similar processes in Asia,it combines the sludge digestion process and the sludge drying process. In addition,an integrated treatment process that utilizes biogas generated by sludge digestion for sludge drying and recovers waste heat generated by sludge drying for pre-heating of sludge digester is originated.
