After Taiyuan City was occupied by Japanese army,there were a large number of Chinese troops fighting with Japanese Army,including Zhongyang Army(central government's army),Jin Army(Shanxi Province's army) and other armies. At that time,the main battleground of Chinese army fighting against Japanese army in Shanxi Province was still frontal battleground.Some units of the Eighth Route Army also took part in those battles. In a relatively long time after Taiyuan City was occupied by Japanese army,the main fighting forms of the Chinese army against Japanese army were mobile warfare and positional warfare,besides guerrilla warfare. At the same time,the Nationnal Government's army played a more important role in resisting the Japanese army in Shanxi battleground than the Eighth Route Army did.
