Abstract
Urban ability of reducing earthquake disasters is a complex system involving numerous factors, and it’s evaluating also relates to multi-subject,such as earthquake science, social science, economical science, and so on.Scientific and rational assessments of the urban ability for withstanding seismic disasters and strengthening of its weak links are one of the effective ways to reduce the urban earthquake disaster.Based the existed evaluation system of urban ability of reducing earthquake disasters, this paper putted up the easy evaluation index of urban ability of reducing earthquake disasters based on the forward studies with using the earthquake emergency database.
