Observation of the treatment effect of etanercep in treating elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract

Objective To discuss clinical effect of Etanercep intreating elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods A total of 64 patients treated in our hospital from May 2011 to May 2013 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and compared group. Observation group were given Etanercep and MTX. Compared group were given MTX. Then the time of morning stiffness, the power of gripping ect. were compared. Results After treatment the power of gripping and swelling index are clearly better and ESR, C-reactive protein are clearly drop comparing before treatment in both of observation group and compared group. Conclusion Etanercep combined MTX can Obtain synergies for treating Elderly Rheumatoid arthritis. It deserves being extended.
