Study on Temperature Control for Roller Compacted Concrete Gravity Dam

Abstract

During mass concrete project construction,temperature stress and temperature control is very interesting.Roller compacted concrete dam is similar to conventional concrete dam in that temperature stress will induce cracks.However,the characteristics of temperature stress of roller compacted concrete dam is different from that of conventional concrete dam.This characteristics must be considered so as to make effective temperature control measures and ensure dam safety.
