Abstract

Objective To study the expression and significance of bcl-2 and P53 of breast cancer. Methods Using S-P immunohistochemical method,bcl-2 and P53 expression in 70 cases of breast cancer and 20 cases of benign lesions were detected. Results Inverse correlation was found between the exp-ression of bcl-2 and P53(P0.05). There was a significant relation between the expression of bcl-2 and P and histological grade(P 0. 05). bcl-2 was more frequently detected in poorly differentiated carcinomas. The expression of P53 was related to axilla lymph mode metastasis but bcl-2 was not. Conclusion bcl-2 expression it not related to lymph mode metastasis and well differentiation or early stage of tumors may be indicated by bcl-2 positive staining. P53 expression and lymph mode metastasis was positive relation.
