Abstract

Strategic emerging industries can be classified into strongly and weakly environment-driving industries,preparatory-leading and preparatory-pillar industries.Developed provinces can optimize industry location on the basis of nationwide comparison of their emerging industries considering the demand of comparative advantage, competitive advantage and uncertainty.Developed provinces encounter inner and outer impacts on emerging industries from the problems of worldwide long-term recession, world energy crisis,Chinese runner-up crisis, real estate bubble, impulsive investment and low labor income, which form dual-wheel shocks. The paper establishes a soft-and-hard-factor-driving competitiveness advantage model and shows the way to upgrade the competitiveness advantage of developed provinces′ emerging industries.
