Driving Mechanism to Land Use Change of Xiji County in 1980s

According to analysis of relationship between main driving forces and land use change, an index system representing land use change and main driving forces is submitted.The correlation between factors and land use change is discussed and multivariable regression model is set up. By means of standardized regression coefficient of the model, impact of main driving forces on land use change is analyzed quantitatively. Then main driving forces of land use change of Xiji County in 1980s are farmers net income and enthusiasm for returning farm land to forest and pasture.
