Information Network and University Library

The rapid development of modern information technology brings both challenge and opportunity to the development of university libraries. To be adapted to the challenges and changes in network environment, and to improve service quality, efforts should be taken with respect to concept update, service mode change, management method enhancement and the training of highquality service personnel to facilitate the construction and development of university libraries. In this paper, on the basis of the current information network environment, the influence of modern technology development on libraries is discussed, and methods for thedevelopment of university libraries are proposed.
