Abstract
Model sharing between substation configuration description(SCD)and control center CIM/E is an important support for smart grid development. The main differences between SCD and CIM/E are compared and analyzed. The model mapping relationship from SCD to CIM/E is also analyzed and the model conversion scheme in accordance with mapping relationship is presented, which has been applied in a practical smart substation and obtained good results. The scheme can implement model sharing, fully compatible with existing system and makes it possible to avoid repeatedly modeling in control center.
