Abstract
Taking two varieties of early rice, two varieties of middle rice and two varieties of late rice as experimental materials, the field experiments had been conducted to comparatively study the influences of shallow and controlling irrigation technology(SCIT) and traditional irrigation method(TIM) on yield and main breeding traits of rice. The results showed that in comparison with TIM, the SCIT not only can save water, but also can increase grain yield of rice significantly(P0.05); the grain yield of early rice, middle rice and late rice increased by 6.08%, 14.30% and 5.20%, respectively; the most obvious yield-increasing effect showed in treatment of one-season middle rice; the SCIT can increase yield component factors and individual plant traits of early rice, late rice and one-season middle rice with different degrees, in which the increasing effect on total grain number and grain setting rate reached significant level(P0.05).
