Geochemical characteristics of Paleogene hydrocarbon source rock in Huanghekou Sag

Abstract

There are three sets of paleogene hydrocarbon source rocks (E3s3,E3s1-2 E3d3) in Huanghekou Sag of Bohaiwan Basin.They distribute in the whole sag.The primary lithologies of the hydrocarbon source rocks are gray,dark gray,grayish black and black mud and oil shale.The hydrocarbons source rocks in E3s3 and E3s1-2 have high organic matter abundance,and the organic matter is mainly ⅡA and ⅡB,.The two sets of hydrocarbons source rocks are the most favorable hydrocarbon source rock in Huanghekou Sag.
