Abstract
The blood lead content of 600 pre-school children living in Shunde Xingtan was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).Blood lead level and high blood lead rate were analyzed. The average blood lead level in these 600 cases was 68.79 μg/L;high blood lead rate was 13.33%.The difference of blood lead level and high blood lead rate of children between town and village was significant. These two items of children living in town were obviously higher (79.19 μg/L,16.67%) than those living in village (58.38 μg/L,10.00%).Boys' blood lead level and high blood lead rate showed no significant difference with girls' in the same area.
