Forecast tendency of carcinoma of prostate by analyzing prostate-specific antigen result

Abstract

Objective Reviewed the PSA results and rate of making a definitive diagnosis of prostate cancer,and analyzed tendency of the carcinoma of prostate in Lanzhou region in 4 years.Methods The PSA results of 1658 patients who suffer from prostate disease were analyzed in our hospital,of these patients 792 were employee and 866 were farmer,237 patients were give biopsy.Results The carcinoma of prostate were made a definitive diagnosis in 35 case.The PSA level of groups of carcinoma of prostate is higher than the groups of non- carcinoma of prostate. The incidence of employee are ascending year by year.Conclusion The PSA is very important method to the carcinoma of prostate. The incidence of carcinoma of prostate in Lanzhou region is ascending year by year,especially in employee.
