advances of techniques and related theories on digital grassland were summarized,and the research and application of The digital grassland technique platform of China including grassland information system,monitoring on grassland ecosystem and grassland-livestock management and decision making were introduced.Additionally,development tendency in digital grassland theories and techniques were discussed.
