Abstract
Multi-channels ultrasonic is dealt with, which is a key technology of in-line inspection of pipeline corrosion.Base on the characteristics of in-line inspection, the digital multi-channels ultrasonic inspection system with 20 probes is developed. The system consists of main and sub-structure.Inspection board communicated with embedded computer with PCI bus and the numbers of channel are expended by means of high-speed switch. The ultrasonic echo signal is processed with Burg maximum entropy spectrum estimation. The wall thickness of pipeline is obtained. The test shows that the inspection system could inspect the inner and outer defects, process data and store images. It will be used widely in practice.
