Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of labiatae on changes of gastric mucosal injury and gastric mucosal microcirculation following acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP).Methods A total of 192 rats were randomized into control group (CG),pancreatitis group (PG) and treatment group (TG).The model of ANP was established by injection of 5% sodium taurocholate into pancreatic capsule.Radioactive biomicrosphere technique was used to measure the gastric mucosal blood flow at 1/2h,2h,6h,12h after ANP.Meanwhile,pH value of gastric juice and gastric mucosal histology were observed. Results Comparing with CG,the gastric mucosa pathological changes were aggravated significantly ( P 0 01~0 001,respectively),gastric mucosal blood flow was decreased significantly ( P 0 001),intragastric pH value was not changed ( P 0 05).In PG,the blood flow of gastric mucosa was higher at 2h than 1/2h( P 0 001),then was low again at 6h and reached its minimum at 12h (contrast with 2h, P 0 001).In contrast with PG,the gastric mucosa pathological changes were alleviated significantly (all P 0 05),the blood flow of gastric mucosa increased significantly ( P 0 01~0 001 respectively),and intragastric pH value decreased significantly ( P 0 05~0 01)since 2h after ANP in TG.Conclusions Gastric mucosal microcirculation disorder caused by gastric mucosal ischemia and ischemia reperfusion injury may play an important role for gastric mucosal injury in ANP early.Labiatae can protect the gastric mucosa from such injury.
