Abstract

The mechanism of absorption of SO2 by ZnO slurry was investigated, and a novel indirect desulfurization process using ZnO slurry was proposed in order to avoid plugging.Based on experiments, the influence of slurry concentration,liquid-gas ratio,SO2 inlet concentration and superficial velocity on desulfurization efficiency was analyzed.
