Abstract

Two Pistachio varieties with different responses to NaCl and Na_2SO_4 treatment were used as experimental materials to study the metabolism of active oxygen in leaves after 5、10、20 days' treatment. The concentration of NaCl and Na_2SO_4 were 50、150、250 and 500mmol/l.Under NaCl stress, the activities of SOD(superoxide dismutase)、CAT(catalase)、POD(peroxidase) increased in both two varieties. The SOD、POD activities of Changguo and SOD、CAT、POD activities of Kerman are highest when salt concentration is 250 mmol/l, then decreased. The CAT activities of Changguo are highest when salt concentration is 150 mmol/l. Under Na_2SO_4 stress, the activities of SOD、 CAT、 POD increased in both two varieties and are highest when salt concentration is 250 mmol/l, then decreased. In comparison with NaCl stress, the activities of SOD、CAT、POD in both two varieties are decreased slightly.
