Abstract
Based on the sedimentation test and grain size analysis test of the V period's dredger fill in the QIANTANG RIVER's standard dike project , Some conclusion can be obtained: as for silt, the dry density ?the speed of the sedimentation have no evident connecyion with the original water content of the suspension?Well graded soil will has the larger dry density after sedimentation ?Self-weight of underconsolidated soil plays an important roll during sedimentation.
