Abstract

The occurrence of sepsis is closely related to the immune dysfunction of the body.During the early period of sepsis, there may be an excessive and constant inflammatory response, and it will be followed by immune depression, demonstrating apoptosis of lymphocytes, which can increase susceptibility of the body.Further investigation of the pathophysiology of the immune dysfunction in sepsis can interpret the mechanism of sepsis and may provide new ideas and more advisable strategies for the prevention and treatment.
