Abstract

Phosphorus is the main element result in eutrophication and it should be removed in order to avoid eutrophication. In this paper the main methods of removing phosphorus from wastewater are summarized and the newest development trends of dephosphorization techniques are also described, adding that denitrifying phosphorus removing is one kind of prospected process and problems existed in the removal of phospho-rus from constructed wetland are analyzed.
