Abstract
The one-dimensional vertical soil column infiltration test was conducted to study the characteristics of soil infiltration and water salt distribution of continuous and intermittent infiltration under the alternate irrigation. The results showed that with the increase of alternate times, wetting front distance and cumulative infiltration had a certain degree of increase in alternation of continuous infiltration, and the result of intermittent infiltration was the opposite. The linear relation between wetting front distance and cumulative infiltration amount did not essentially change under alternate irrigation. The soil moisture content rate of intermittent infiltration significantly reduced with the increase of alternate times.Electrical conductivity presented salt accumulation phenomenon on both ends with saline water irrigation first.Electrical conductivity presented the overall upward trend with fresh water irrigation first. The water quality of the last irrigation had a great influence on the electrical conductivity of soil surface.
