Abstract
The article introduces the elements and applying advantages of Bishop method and finite difference method, two slope stability analysis methods, proposes the limitation of each method, lists applying instance, gets evaluation results, and points out that doing integrated researching and contrast analysis on slope stability is one of the ways to increase the reliability of slope stability analysis and to optimize design.
