one Cases Report of True Hermaphroditism in Adult and the Literature Review

Objective:Improve the diagnosis and treatment of true hermaphroditism.Methods:One true hermaphroditism case in our hospital was analyzed retrospectively,and then review of the literature.Results:The female patient had obvious female secondary sexual characteristics,after the explorative operation and Removal of testis,the body was primly recuperated.1 year follow-up later,the level of sex hormone is normal.Conclusions:The accurate diagnosis of true hermaphroditism should be made on radiology,cytogenetics and histological examination of the gonad.The principia of treatment included the removal of the contradictory gonad and the genitalia orthopedics.The purpose of diagnoses and treatment was to recover sexual function.
