Abstract
According to the data from an oblique ionogram, parameters of the quasi-parabolic ionosphere model for the reflection point can be obtained based on genetic algorithm.Using the international reference ionosphere(IRI) as background ionosphere, equivalent predicted index can be derived from these quasi-parabolic ionospheric layer parameters, then parameters of the quasi-parabolic ionosphere model for midpoint in another oblique ionospheric sounder link are predicted with the equivalent predicted index. The method is feasible through comparison between measured and synthetic oblique ionogram from the predictive parameters.
