Abstract

Language serves not only as a tool of communication and thinking,but also a carrier of culture.It has connotation of a very deep cultural degree,and different cultures is reflective to various mode of thinking,history,religious belief and social cultural custom.As a typical cross-cultural act,Translation is always influenced by cultural factors during the process of translating.The paper focuses on cultural factors and translation strategies by analyzing cultural traits between the West and the East.
