Abstract

The physiological response characteristics of two reed canarygrass eustipes cutting seedlings to saline-alkali stress were studied in four salts treats and three different salt concentration by pot experiment. The results showed that the electrolyte leakage and proline content of reed canarygrass leaves had the increasing tendency with the increase of salt concentration, whereas the change of soluble sugar was fall first then rise. The electrolyte leakage and proline content of reed canarygrass leaf had no significant change when the salt concentration was below 100mmol/L and the seedlings were lightly injuried. But when the salt concentration was higher than 150mmol/L,the electrolyte leakage and proline content significantly increased in alkaline sress(A group) ,and the increasing range of electrolyte leakage and proline content of Chuancao3hao was obviously higher than the new strain of reed canarygrass in salt stress(B group) .
