Abstract
By using literature metrology method,the author carries out quantitative analysis of fund-sponsored essays in 2009 published in core periodicals of information science from the following aspects: the rate of fund-sponsored essays,the fund rank,research topics,research methods,the rate of essays by co-writers,the degrees of co-operation,publishing organizations and distribution of writers.The analysis is based on the samples of 8 representative core periodicals of information science in order to discover the present situation of information science and to provide some useful references for the research of informatics.
