Abstract
Examining the rapid development of arts education in universities and colleges,we will find that there have been many problems which arise from the lack of deep thinking about arts education value objective.The author has proposed that the must choice of healthy development of arts education in universities and colleges is humanities education commanding skills education,mass education replacing elite education and aesthetic education surpassing utility education.
