Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between hypoalbuminemia and proteinuria in nephrotic syndrome. Methods The laboratory data from 46 cases of primary nephritic syndrome without history of steroid therapy were analyzed. Results The regression value(r) between hypoalbuminemia and proteinuria 1 and 2 was 0.127 sand 0.005 respectively,P0.05.Conclusion Heavy proteinuria may not be the main cause of hypoalbuminemia in the nephrotic syndrome of children.
