Abstract

This paper discussed the inheritance of cytoplasmic male sterility,the characters of CMS genes and fertility restorer genes mapped or cloned were summarized.The molecular mechanism and advances of cytoplasmic male sterility and fertility restoration related with CMS were stated.Finally,the values in further practice were prospected.
