With the rapid development of the modern age and society,there have been a great change in today's literary criticism and a large –scale shift in the focus of literary research.Instead of studying literary text,literary critics have turned their attention on macro research of politics,economics and society,and cultural criticism has gradually replaced literary criticism.This shift is the outcome of many joint forces and is a historical necessity under the new context.
