Abstract
Through comparing the old and new type of javelin throwing and the features of different javelins,a new method of throwing javelin which can be better fit for the traits of the new type of javelin was put forward.An analysis was made from the perspective of biomechanics in the hope of providing valuable references for improving the javelin sports performance and basic training level.
