A Survey of OFDM Communication Systems Synchronization Technology

Abstract

OFDM has found widely applications in recent years. Whether the result of synchronization is good or not is of great importance for normally working of systems using OFDM. This paper introduces the general synchronization procedure of OFDM system and gives a description of several classic synchronization algorithms of OFDM system. At last, possible directions in future research on OFDM synchronization is presented.
