Landscape-Oriented Campus Planning: A Case Study ofHefei University Concept Planning

This article focuses on the planning theo-ries and methods of Chinese modern college withthe specific introduction of Hefei College Town. Atthe same time, it also introduces the whole processfrom strategy, master plan to construction aboutHefei College Town. As a result of these researches,this paper presents some ideas about the landscape-oriented campus planning, which include three: a)The ideastic landscape which concerns on humanthinking and the environmental landscape whichbases on ecology; b) The introduction of landscape-oriented campus planning theory and compares itwith traditional planning methods. c) The introduceof Hefei College Towns campus planning.
