Abstract

Objective:To investigate the cause and treatment of bile duct injury and residual gallbladder after difficult cholecystectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 564 cases with bile duct injury and residual gallbladder after difficult cholecystectomy were retrospectively analysed. Results:The cases after difficult cholecystectomy included 15 bile duct injury cases(2.66%).Thirteen cases were cured,1 case was improved,1 case died. The cases after difficult cholecystectomy included 12 residual gallbladder cases(2.13%).Four cases were cured,2 caes with gallstone recurrence refused surgery,6 cases without gallstone were improved. Conclusions:The occurrence of bile duct injury and residual gallbladder after difficult cholecystectomy are higher than average. The skillful operation and appropriate time can avoid severely operative complications.
