A research on improving the social integration of migrant workers in Xi′an

In order to collect relative information of migrant workers′ social integration,and change the marginalized status of migrant workers,a survey was made on migrant workers in Xi'an city by using social science research methods such as quantitative survey and qualitative interview.It shows that during the process of social integrating of migrant workers in Xi'an,their economic and public rights,social relationship and labor security are to be improved,and the efforts of governmental departments in meeting the basic needs of migrant workers,providing trainings and establishing social security system,etc.should be promoted.
