Abstract

For analyzing the deflections and stresses of roadway structure under moving load,an analytical method to determine the dynamic response of elastic foundation slab was presented.Based on the theory of Kirchhoff infinite thin slab on Winkler foundation, the analytical solutions of the slab's deflection and stress under moving load were investigated by triangular series and integral transformation methods.By using numerical methods, the spatial change rules of the slab's deflection and stress were clarified, and the effects of the moving load speed, physical parameters of slab and sub-grade on slab's deflection and stress were discussed. The results indicate that the moving load velocity, foundation stiffness and slab thickness have significant effects on the slab's deflection. The deflection of thin slab is obviously fluctuated with the increasing moving load speed, and the slab's deflection decreases with the increasing foundation stiffness.
