Abstract

The torsion on less toothed gear axis with clockwise anticlockwise helix directions was tested, and its unique phenomena of torsion failure and deformation obtained. The causes of torsion failure and deformation were discussed. It is presented that in designing of the less toothed gear, the factors of torsion failure and deformation must be considered.
