Abstract
Plasticizers are used to impart flexibility for polyvinyl chloride(PVC) plastics.Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP) is the most widely used plasticizer in PVC plastics.However,DEHP leaks out from PVC items,and has consequently become a environmental contaminant.The composition,structure,properties,uses,synthesis principle,determination methods,ways of going into human body and impacts on human health of DEHP was discussed.It was pointed out that we should modify live habit to low absorption and harm of DEHP.
