Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of ascorbic acid on with primary culture gastric cancer cells in vitro. Method The gastric cancer cells from 22 patients with gastric carcinoma were cultured. The sensitivity of acid in ascrobic different concentration to the cells was measured by MTT assay. Result Different concentration of ascorbic acid from 0.2mM to 2. 0mM showe cytotoxicity effect on all cases, and the inhibitory rates were increased corresponding with the concentration increased. But the inhibitory rates were no significant difference between 2.0mM and 2.5mM.( P 0.05).Conclusion Ascorbic acid has cytotoxicity effect on gastric cancer cells with primary cuture cultured in vitro and the cytotoxicity effect is relevant to the certain concentration in vitro.
